The A-List of the B-List and the A-List of the A's

A double header this week! Don’t ever say Curty B doesn’t treat you right.

Despite its title, this B-List is actually an A-List. Well, the bands do all have the letter B in common, but they certainly aren’t second tier. This list compiles the best of the B’s, unfortunately without any contributions from “Baker”.

Beastie Boys – Super Disco Breakin’

Belle and Sebastian – Step Into My Office. Baby

Bloc Party – Hunting for Witches

Brandston – Escapist

Blood Brothers – Huge Gold AK-47

Ben Folds – Landed

Ben Gibbard – You Remind Me of Home

Bright Eyes – Coat Check Dream Song

Ben Kweller – I Need You Back

The Bravery – An Honest Mistake

Below is the A-List of the A’s. There is no mistaking the title this time, these tracks are doing exactly as they are told; starting with A and being my favorites of the category. Highly recommended tracks include Anberlin, Acceptance, and As Tall As Lions. Although, with the wealth of good A-named bands out there, you can’t go wrong.

The Academy Is… - Black Mamba

Acceptance – Take Cover

Air – Surfin’ On A Rocket

Anberlin – A Whisper and a Clamor

Arcade Fire – Keep the Car Running

At the Drive-In – One Armed Scissor

As Tall As Lions – Summer

Atmosphere – Shh

Architecture in Helsinki – Frenchy, I’m Faking

Andrew Bird – Imitosis
