Chris Cornell Announces American Tour

America, Chris Cornell has heard you calling, and has decided to give you what you want, sort of. It's relatively clear to all of us that what we really want is for Cornell to be touring and playing nothing but Soundgarden and Audioslave tracks, however Cornell will begin touring in the spring to promote his latest album Scream produced by the one and only, Timbaland.

Chris Cornell announces US Spring Dates

Legendary songwriter and singer Chris Cornell is back in the USA this Spring.  He'll be touring in support of his upcoming album Scream – produced by Timbaland and released by Mosley Music/ Interscope on March 10.

Following shows on the US west coast, in Canada and Europe in 2008, Chris and his live band will be heading off across America during March and April, taking on major US cities from Dallas and New Orleans to Chicago and New York. Tickets go on public sale from February 13.

Scream showcases a new, seductive sound - dark, multi-layered and full of puzzles and surprises. The songs bring a new cinematic scope to Cornell's performances, with potent visual imagery echoing the non-stop musical assault from his internationally acclaimed live band. "Musically, this is the most ambitious thing I've been a part of.  It's almost like a movie soundtrack," says Cornell, who will also be playing other music from throughout his two-decade, 14-album career.
