After spending a lengthy period of time in the recording studio, Vancouver's Bend Sinister is ready to hit the mean streets of Canada. Joining Bend Sinister on tour will be Montreal alt-rockers Mobile.

Bend Sinister Tour Through Sounds of Fiction

(Vancouver, BC) – After spending the past year composing and relentlessly recording, Vancouver’s Bend Sinister will be hitting the road next month to join Montreal’s alt- rockers Mobile for their upcoming Sound of Fiction tour. Labeled as anything from math to prog to pop but feeling most comfortable in the plain guise of rock, Bend Sinister have evolved through numerous styles and absorbed a variety of influences to become a band so refreshingly original that the struggle to categorize them is a losing battle.

Recently nominated for a CBC Radio 3 Bucky Award, Bend Sinister released their sophomore album Stories of Brothers, Tales of Lovers last fall through Distort Light. Having received plenty of plaudits from press across Canada including being referred to as one of the most musically accomplished rock albums by a Canadian in 2008 (Exclaim!), Bend Sinister is eager to share their stories and tales with audiences across Canada.
